Zavelier · The perfumers
Classical training with a personal, emotional purpose
Roxanne Kirkpatrick is an American perfumer whose career includes fine fragrance development at Givaudan in Paris. Her work connects the discipline of classical training with an interest in what a perfume can mean to the person wearing it. She has worked across major international brands and independent fragrance projects.
Her published portfolio of creations and co-creations includes Azzaro The Most Wanted Parfum, Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue Forever, Frassaï Teisenddu and Zara Ebony Wood. This range brings together widely distributed designer fragrances and more intimate brand stories, each requiring a different interpretation of the creative brief.
As principal perfumer of Sovereign Fragrance, Kirkpatrick describes craftsmanship as a way to translate the energy and intention of the studio into something another person can experience. Her emphasis falls on the human connection carried by a fragrance: its ability to support a mood, express personality and become part of everyday life.
