Fabrice Pellegrin grew up within the perfume culture of Grasse. His father was a perfumer, his grandmother picked jasmine and his grandfather supplied natural ingredients. That family background connected the finished fragrance with the growing, gathering and preparation of its materials.

His professional work has continued that close relationship with natural ingredients and the knowledge behind them. His credited commissions include fragrances for Diptyque, Réminiscence, L’Occitane, Jo Malone London, Kilian and L’Artisan Parfumeur.
