Iced Citrus Accord
Citrus describes a spectrum of peel-like freshness: lemon’s sharpness, orange’s rounded sweetness, bergamot’s floral softness and grapefruit’s bitter bite. A citrus accord can combine several of these impressions.

It gives an immediate sense of brightness and movement. Herbs make it more aromatic, flowers add softness, and musks or woods help connect the opening to later stages.
The note’s placement and prominence depend on the complete composition.
Understanding this note
A broad citrus listing describes an effect rather than a single botanical ingredient. Natural peel oils, their fractions and aroma molecules can all be used to shape the accord.
