Black Currant Bud
Blackcurrant bud is intensely green and fruity, with sharp sulfurous, leafy and sometimes animalic facets. It is more pungent and less simply juicy than a berry-syrup accord.

It gives vivid character to cassis, rose and tropical-fruit accords and can sharpen an otherwise smooth composition.
The note’s placement and prominence depend on the complete composition.
Understanding this note
Natural blackcurrant-bud absolute is extracted from Ribes nigrum buds. A note can also be interpreted through a reconstruction, so it does not guarantee that natural absolute is present.
